On the issue of photos I think just after stopping at the road around mile 18 then crossing the raod going up hill as you do only to be confronted by a photographer 100 meters ahead being a bloke I felt the need to be running in the photo so stupidly set off as if it was the start again....................a tad foolish & pointing out the obvious stumbled to stop five feet past him complaining of cramp in my left calf................

Well the thing is PH I've just got into ultra running this year and have a policy if it's a small incline i'll run up it anything looking like a hill then walk ...............once again what a prat/ ego............

The photographer was facing the wrong way, but I took several photos and video on the way round my standing time during the race accounts for about 10 mins, never done that before and good to show the kids what the race looks like :-)

I've said in the past this is the year to run interesting, scenic races and this definatley ticks all the boxes, I was going to do the race in Cornwall on the 20th of next month but have decided to stick with Luton as I'm already entered and hopefully third time lucky to start as cancelled last year and in 2007 I was injured..............Anyhow not to sure Luton will be ticking my too much but it's a new one so hey ho................goodtimes
