The short course triathlon is 10 miles to the base of AdH and then the climb The climb is harder than anything you can ride in terms of distance in the UK(wimbleballs hardest climb would not register). Wimbleball may be more tiring than the sprint for distance. The duathlon starts 1 mile from the bottom of the climb and then it is a smash up the mountain.
