Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

At last! A podcast about running that's actually worth listening to!

Santa, if you're on a future podcast you'll have to keep your fan club happy by recording from a champagne bar in between courses of caviar and oysters! ;-)

If you have recording equipment that only records in mono, you can easily copy it to both tracks (L&R) using audacity - free bit of software which is superb for sound editing & making podcasts. Utterly recommend it.

thanks Pam. i do actually use Audacity where i can - you can tell which bits of the podcast cos they're the stereo bits! The mono bits are all recorded when i'm talking to people via Skype. I'll have a look to see how i can copy those into audacity as both tracks.

Thanks for the tip!

Your podcast got me round today's run, mate, and I loved it. It sounds pretty good. I take the comments about sound quality on board but have you heard some of the "professionally produced" podcasts available and the dodgy sound quality they deliver? (BBC History Magazine is a prime example). Recording phone interviews or Skype interviews would seem to be a problem for a lot of podcasters. I think yours compares pretty well.

When's the next ep out? I can't wait.
