Isn't Russian Tetris just Tetris? I loved Klax. On the PS, I was well into a game called Devil Dice, could spend hours playing that. And Live Wire, which was an enclosing territory game. And Q*Bert. Every Saturday when I was 16/17/18, into Stirling to the arcades (there were two). Future Flash (a kind of Galaxians which I never saw anywhere else), Wild West, a sit in space vector game, a railroad track switch game (can't remember their names, but I used to have dreams about the railroad one). And then the absolute seismic shock of when Battlezone came in, there used to be a dozen people peering in just watching someone play. |

Q*Bert. I’d forgotten about that. Battlezone with the two push pull sticks tank thing? Came out not long after Asteroids? |

I've just looked up Future Flash - it's actually a Missile Command-alike. Missile Command! And Tempest! Two games which never translated that well to the home format due to the controls. The local chippy had a Tempest machine - frequent visits. And I've just found a YouTube channel: Old Classic Retro Gaming m.youtube.com May do like McGoohan, and watch it on Big Telly. (Battlezone: yes, the twin stick tank game.) |

I had the sequel to Devil Dice - I remember it being quite frustrating having only played DD as a demo and found it a lot of fun. That's reminded me of Tombi!, a nicely made PSX game that I had, but that was stolen. A pseudo-3D platformer/RPG game having to seal away some evil pigs. One of the quests involved finding cheese for a mouse, and was called "Some cheese, please", which I still quote endlessly to housemate whilst cooking, to his blank face ![]() |

I'm not sure what the Russian Tetris was, but it had a collaborative mode that I'd play with Dad. I think there was a link to the Russian circus(?). May have been some pirated thing that Dad got hold of somehow.

Ooh, never saw that one. If anyone ever mentions Tetris, I always get this earworm stuck in my head: |

Great Girl - I think I played that one. Definitely rings a bell with your description. The Gameboy version is still the best Tetris, never seen a version that does it better. |

A little light googling reveals the game I remember is "Super Tetris". That the one you remember Grast Girl?

Garotte Rogue would appear to be a thing. I just got thrashed by one. Will wander off and investigate builds.
