Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I did the sport relief mile in the Duthie Park. Wee bit disappointed with my time as I thought I might have been able to go a bit faster on a shorter distance! :( Suppose I could blame it on the kids dodging in and out or the stupid couple walking their 2 huge dogs on long leads right on the path in the middle of all the runners!!....... but I'd only be kidding myself! :)

I won't be at our mile I'm afraid - I'm off to London for a week on the 31st with some friends for debauchery and...helping someone move house. Then I'm going to Sheffield for a dirty goth festival!

Need to squeeze some running in and around there somewhere, not been out since the D33 and am feeling well rested and ready to roll!

Morning all ... lovely weather :) It is raising my spirits as I was at the physio this morning and she insisted on giving me crutches for the remainder of this pregnancy so I am sulking a bit but maybe they will help me get about a bit more.

MrsS, I work with Beth. Small world, although you do know literally everyone, whenever I make a new friend on facebook you are usually lurking there as a mutual friend, even if they are nothing to do with running/sport!

A very hot and sweaty 19 miles for me yesterday. Man it was warm. Garmin says 19 miles and 2165ft of ascent.
So nice to be stuck in the office with this glorious weather outside. :-(

Beth coaches the wee ones I think. If it's the same Beth. She is lovely :) I wish A had stuck with rugby really. We missed the SR mile as we forgot to sign up and it was too late then remembered we had tickets for Harlem Globetrotters at AECC anyway. I am feeling shit at the moment. Horrible cough, achey and thermostat not working properly. Paracetamol keeping it at bay to some extent :) I cannot wait for my week off next week. We will be doing......nothing!!

*waves from an unbelievably sunny Northampton*. Beth is much fun and alternate weeks with the Mackie ladies will certainly do your training no harm at all.

A very lovely Italian man made my morning cappuccino today, so I decided to stick with the Italian theme for ouch and have had pizza and a light Italian white for lunch. I'm thinking a mazetti and full bodies red for dinner, since I'm cooking for the students tonight.

Aww WKP, sorry to hear it is a bit tough for you just now. Hope the crutches let you get around more.
