Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Chromey - th OMM ULTRA 15 is great, big enough for stuff - a simple compression doofer when it isn't completely full. Comfy straps.
There is a 12L as well but that might be too small - you can't pack lightweight sacks TOO full or they don't sit comfortably on your back!

One of the plus points of the Inov-8 are the two pockets on the lower strap, very handy for small items e.g. flapjack.

If I wasn't doing the Lakeland 50, that would be a better choice ;-)

Pockets are good indeed. On my Ultra 15, I can reach 2 on the waist strap and also the two external ones on the back. The ones on the back are good for discarding gloves, headtorch, wrappers etc.. when they are no longer needed. They are good because odd shaped stuff that would dig into you (like the torch) can go somewhere but still be accessible on the run.
My day to day rucksack (not for running) also has similar, and I'd have to say I wouldn't buy anything without something that you can reach without taking the pack off having had them now :-)

Inov-8 take their own odd shaped bladders iirc, which you buy seperately. Like this wiggle.co.uk

Your bladder might fit if their is a loop at the top to keep it secure. There would be routing for the hose.
