Notes & Comments
Barcelona Half Marathon. Knew I was not on PB form, but happy to be there as knee is a lot better. Started around 1:42 pace and felt ok for first 3 miles. Started to have to work from 3-10 miles. Then had to really fight to keep going for last 5k. Was good overcast conditions to start, then sun came out from around 10 miles (was forecasted to stay cloudy - and the rain never came!) Probaly lost 2 minutes in final 5 miles. Overall, always slightly disappointing not to be in the right form, but very happy with the effort to dig in and give it the best I could. That last mile felt like a shuffle with nothing left, as RichHL came past me like a speeding police car (with the sirens on!)
