Notes & Comments
BHF Warwick Half Marathon: final long run before London, and hillier than expected. Well organised event, didn't even have to queue for the loos! Left shin was painful for the first few miles, probably a lack of stretching, but wore off. Was aiming to run around 10:30 mins/mile, faster than marathon pace but not trying for a pb. Other than a dicky tummy, felt fantastic, pace felt easy and relaxed had plenty left to put in a faster finish and, never thought I'd say this but could have carried on running. All looking good for the marathon, just need to avoid injury and illness for the next 3 weeks.
