Not hoping for more than to get around comfortably I expected to run at 8.30 av pace but found the pace I stuck with comfortable, I even managed to overtake people in the last mile and up the hill to the stadium.
A great morning for a HM, lots of wonderful supporters and good camaraderie among runnier in the early miles (later miles were fairly quiet).
Position 2584 / 13104 10 / /???? F45 Well happy:-)

Wonderful you have done very well to get back to fitness in a short time.
Well Done!
So glad you are back on for the VLM, a great run and confidence booster for you after such a long time 'out of it', Well done Maura, nice to see you smiling again
Confidence booster in so much as I believe I can do the distance but I am realistic enough to know it will be my slowest marathon - I intend to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy. If I am lucky I will finish around 4 hours or not too far after
So glad it's all coming together for you now. That sounds like a great plan for VLM, as I'm sure when you are racing all out for a time you.lose a great deal of the atmosphere and occaission.
