Notes & Comments
A very, very windy half marathon at Long Marston Airfield. Pancake flat and so without that horrible wind I reckon I would have got close to my PB, even without enough training but that and the fact it was 4 x 5km loops and then another 0.60 of a mile after that made it mentally difficult. The last 400 or so metres was running into the strongest wind ever and I could not believe how bad it had got, in fact my baseball cap flew off just before the finish line and I almost stopped to get it but decided to get myself over the line first. A kind man went and got it for me as I could hardly move when I stopped running and went a bit dizzy.
This is my garmin time and I did accidentally stop it once very briefly on the route so not my official time.
