Notes & Comments
LDWA 54321 in Salisbury - absolutely beautiful and actually pretty much totally runnable. Navigating was very simple as loads of way markers on route and always people around to follow. Had a great time taking pics and taking it all in and even bumped into Flying Ant and we all ran together for the last mile and had some pics, which was great. I didn't feel too bad on this run but unfortunately Rich struggled from mile 10 onwards (which is why we opted for the 30k rather than the mara when the course split) and there was a fair bit of walking. However, I often ran on and then waited for Rich so I made sure I was keeping the running going. Had more walking breaks than I would have done on my own and Rich thought I seemed really strong but my quads ached a fair bit. Had a cracking last mile with Ant so a nice strong finish. My Garmin gave up so waiting for Rich's.
