The Ferriby 10 was once again a world of pain. The first half is a series of steep climbs and I got to half way in 42:27 - a measly 15 seconds quicker than last year. However, in a measure of my slightly improved fitness, I completed the second 5 miles in 38:05. My left knee was in agony after the race, reminding me of the fact it was this dreaded event that started all my injury problems in the first place.
