if you can get it down to 7:39 pace for a 5k then why not just another couple for the 10k?
I'll be aiming for 7.30 pace on my next flat 10k. The Crown to Crown 5k is far from flat, the first section is downhill, middle section is up & down, and then it's back up the same hill past the start, and a further half mile or so uphill to the finish. So, I reckon my pace for 10k may well be faster than my 5k PB. In fact that 5k was slower than my 5 mile PB from a couple of weeks ago, and that was called Tilty Hilly 5., and I'm aiming to go under 7.30 pace for 5 miles tomorrow!
