Midland XC Champs at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough. The course was changed at the last minute because Stafford Common was flooded. This was a nicer course though and more scenic. The wind was quite strong but luckily we were a little sheltered in some parts from the trees. The course was muddy and sticky but not too bad and not too hilly. I just felt quite unfit from being ill recently. I was coughing quite a lot during the run and felt low on energy but was pleased to get around, especially coming 114th out of 351. THe coruse was 1 small lap and 2 large. My shoelace came undone at some point after the first lap but I managed to finish without having to stop to do it up. Once I finished I realised that both laces were undone!
