Started off with Pat Power for very easy 1st mile... hip ok... Pats running well at the moment..(had a sub 37'00 in 'Deadman 5'. He pushed on...
Pushed it a bit out Cork rd to 2 mile... headwind
Hard but controlled to 3 mile.
At my limit pacewise without injuring myself.
Passed Grange /Fermoy runner
Another Grange/Fermoy runner just ahead...
Maybe catch him on hill up Boreenarua if he tires??

4 mile.. legs very tired but groin/hip ok &
25m behind GF runner at bottom of hill...
10m behind him at top of hill, I'll get him
Pushed a little... a little too much.. Groin says no.
Dropped pace a little... there wont be any sprint finish today anyway so just get home uninjured...
2nd Grange Fermoy runner passed me back.
AH Fuck.
I know I'm close to 7'30 pace which is great as its a long time since I've run it. Have to be happy with that.
Had intended 1-2 mls easy after race but ...
not a hope.... maybe I'm getting sense

Legs knackered but groin/hip ok...
