Salcombe Coastal Marathon. Absolutely beautiful. Stunning course all on the very challenging coast path, a brief pause for the ferry crossing and finishing at a volvo with a smashed headlight and a finish banner leaned on the windscreen. Quirky? Doesn't even start to describe it. Obviously no details or stats as my 'entry level' Garmin hadn't got battery life beyond 4.5 hours! Recorded on an 'app' but feck knows how I get it from there to here??!@$^
Anyway. Running with the woman I love. Someone who understands untreated alcoholism all too well and never judges nor mocks or trivialises alcohol abuse. I am blessed.........
