Notes & Comments

watfd half marathon....Very warm. Decided to run with 3'15'00(7'27ml,marathoner pacer for a few miles to see how I feel before deciding on time target

doing the sums at 10miles… 74'37

22'00 for last 5k(7'06ml) would get me close to a PB…

10... 74'37
11... 7'14 81'51...169/169 need to push harder
12... 7'04 88'55... 169/169 Better

tiring… in eco park but still passing runners… lost impetus between eco park and RSC…. Pushed hard in RSC…. Sprinted to finish…

13.1... 7'54 96'39... 169/171 (last 5k 22'02 :-))

Chip time 96'28 5 secs outside PB time.

Very happy overall as I had no intention of trying for a PB going to the race. I should have pushed on a little earlier when HR had dropped(shady miles 7&8)

Very flat but totally boring course around the city.
Better PB course than Wexford ... Portumna still best IMO
7.32 7.23 7.50 7.26 7.25 7.20 7.25 7.09 7.24 7.33 7.14 7.03 7.53
