Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

CP10, nearly didn't go as felt a bit grotty this morning. Anyway, somehow I pb'd!!!

Plan was to aim for 9 mm. Felt by 4 miles I had probably gone off too fast, but it all held together and I just kept on going! Took on a gel at 6 miles (never done that for a 10 miler before), so that could be the reason for stronger than normal finish. Happy.

Mile 1 - 8.43
Mile 2 - 8.21 (woops)
Mile 3 - 8.59
Mile 4/5 - 17.15
Mile 6 - 8.39
Mile 7 - 9.00
Mile 8/9 - 16.09
Mile 10 - 10.16

As usual with CP10, some quite dodgy placing of the final few mile markers. Mile 9 came up much too early (no way at that point was I averaging 8.04 mm.

Still, the end point is the same, whatever.

PB, of 5 years standing, broken by 62 seconds. Official time was 1.27.40, but it's gun to chip timing. How it all happened, I have no idea.
