Notes & Comments

Sussex Beacon half, using polar time and distance not official ones. Legs felt fine until about 10 miles and even after that they weren't complaining too much. Got a new 10-mile PB too, went past the marker at about 1:24. Very happy with how it went overall. Felt like I was going really slowly for the first few miles because I was stuck behind a load of people but looking at the data afterwards it seems I was slightly faster over the first 2.5 miles than over the rest of the race, so I'll have to remember that to stop myself going off too fast in future.
