The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Bassingbourne Heroes Half. Muggy day. Ought to suit muggles, doesnt suit me so clearly i have it in me to be a wizard.
Not the best idea to take 2 weeks off nursing injuries and then roll into town to run a half marathon. Also not the best idea to bemoan your running buddy for drinking energy drinks pre run and then be the one that needs the loo a mile in to the run.
Neither myself or KK or great form, guess the training saw to that. Groin niggly, right knee didnt take kindly to shoving KK up the hill *dont thrust me* and carried a stone in my shoe for 13.1m for good measure.
Despite all this i quite enjoyed this half, first time i have done it, suspect it wont be the last.
Spotted a dead badger on the way home, must be a good omen.
