Ran the Burn Valley Half Marathon. Described as one of Englands toughest half marathons. This race certainly does live up to its reputation! Originally wanted 1:40 from this today but I knew before I even started that was out the window due to very warm running conditions. Set off fairly steady but within the first few mile I knew I would be in for a struggle like last year. Very hilly race which was made harder by the heat. Was 4th Qauker in with a time of 1:48:32. Not a time I wanted but given the heat I still managed to knock off 8 minutes from last year so will settle with that.
