Well my race plan was to run the second half quicker than the 1st half, notes written down on my hand with time splits. By the 2nd k I new something was wrong, I felt very lethargic, I was looking at my time constantly. although by 6k I was only 1 second out which seemed fine. That's when it all went wrong as I knew I didn't have it in my legs to increase the pace, in fact I was getting slower. I had my set my garmin to split at 10.01 knowing this course is a bit long but it measured 10.2. Cathching up with back markers didn't help but it's no excuse I was rubbish today.
