rf_fozzy I actually quite enjoyed this - there must be something wrong with me. It was wet, muddy and misty (visibility was ~50m at best at some points), I didn't have a clue where I was going (didn't recce it prior to race and so got lost in the mist at one point), there was a horrible 45deg climb up knock murton about a mile from the end of the race and a decent back down to the finish that was even steeper. And I still quite enjoyed it. Oh, and I fell down quite a lot, including 3 times coming down the last hill, which got a cheer from the crowd at the end every time. But I beat Alastair Brownlee! Well, ok, he'd finished by the time I started, but he missed a checkpoint (not quite sure how he missed the first checkpoint, it was easy to find), and I didn't, so my name is above his in the results. NB: Actual race distance depends on the route taken - mine worked out at about 5.5mi according to Garmin. Airienteers, North Leeds Fell Runners 1:00:09 35.75
