erjpilot This will be my farewell race for now as I head down to beautiful (please note sarcasm) Houston for training. hopefully will be able to fly home on weekends for races, but not sure what my schedule will be. And after that racing will depend on my schedule as I will be on reserve working weekends and holidays almost for sure.

GaleRunz This is a downtown race and I love runing downtown. I did it last year so I know the course. A couple of small, manageable hills. It's a large race, so if I don't get hung up in traffic in the beginning, I should do well. Will update after my 10 miler on the 19th. *UPDATE* Leg has been bothering me since the 10 miler. I've done a couple slow runs. Unfortunately I PBed last Saturday so I will have to run faster. Will update again. *UPDATE* Ran Friday and felt a bit of pain. Will do my best tomorrow but it's supposed to be HOT and HUMID. That will probably affect me more than the leg.
