DANBERT That was a very good race for me. My form in the first two races in the SEL league had been really good so I was curious to see how I’d fair in the Manchester and District League against my old rivals. I really didn't have any tactics as such - I just kept the pace up the whole race and apart from one person nobody else passed me. Whilst I wasn't actually attacking, it felt good to pass people i've not been anywhere near for a few years now - I just hope I can keep it going.

M62 Santa My first XC - my first ever run in fell shoes, my first XC since Grimsby in 1990. Hated the first two laps but enjoyed the final lap ad I got used to the hills and mud. Bring on St Helens.
