Loon Dod Great race will be back next year to do it justice. Made a lot of mistakes which I can learn from, Went out to fast and forgot to take my salt tablets untill to late, ran all of the earlier hills and did not walk untill the Devils staircase which was a mistake, (Split time at Glencoe 2:47 ) I overstretched jumping over a stream instead of taking the few seconds to go around it or simply geting wet feet this caused my left calf to cramp, a few miles later stepped off a steping stone and left leg cramped as I stumbled forward my right leg cramped and I fell over this was about 4 miles from Kinlochleven I lost around 12 places in the next 4 miles as I crawled into checkpoint where my team worked me over and got me running after a sort at this point I knew that the 8 hr mark which I was well on for was going to slip away so did my best to enjoy the rest of the run, I should know better very basic mistakes but I still loved the race, My support crew were great and so where fellow runners friends old and new well met.
