bedlam_g 17m hill run - 2.32.56 changeover - 2.32 26 mile cycle - 1.59.04 The run the 10 miles uphill to summit was very hard the 7 and a half miles downhill on what resembled a dry river bed was huge fun. The 26 mile cycle was really rough all into a head wind with cramp in my quads for the final 10 miles. Having a mountain bike made it tough, getting picked off in the last 5 miles by speedy racing bikes was a bit depressing. But I've got a sneaky feeling this may well be the toughest event I'll ever complete.
