compo I've been realistic/conservative with my prediction - there's an outside (very outside) chance of a PB judging on recent training runs with my OH. It will depend on how warm, and how cream crackered I am after work. Whatever happes - got to be better than last year when I did this at a PW! Wey hey!!! New PB! Whoopppeeee!

Helegant Progress-check on training. PB potential depends on how well I am able to warm-up before the start, and whether it's a pollen-filled event. Update 28/8 Peak flow down from 680ish to 450ish, back and quads complaining, so will rest tomorrow and put on a PMA with my HRM on Thursday. Even with twinges I am hoping to PB - there is masses of room for improvement yet. 30/8Garmin time was 36:44 but I'm not worried - it gives me a few seconds 'spare' for next time
