Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

daz1927 Feckin' Disaster. Went off way to fast, 1st mile 6:11. was doing great at about 8 mile point, in about 52 mins. What happened next. Woke up in hospital, collaped at about 8.5 miles, on the big hill lol. Severe dehydration, and body shut down. Kept in hospital overnight, and was then my birthday on the Monday - GUTTED>

Dochart This race starts from the athletic track on the northern outskirts of Brecon. Free parking, changing, toilets and showers are all on hand. It's a lovely setting surrounded by sports fields and open countyside and the flat-topped summits of the breccie beacs above. The race is out and back and circles the athletic track before heading out onto quiet lanes in the surrounding countyside. The weather was warm and humid but thankfully not too sunny. The undulating route was well marshalled with three water stations. This was the first time I'd run on a track since school and despite the promises made to myself I still ran the first mile faster than intended before settling into a sensible pace before picking it up again in the last mile or so. After the debacle at Devizes a month ago I was very happy with my race and time. 206/355

Midpack Struggled with my fitness levels after recent injury problems. A long way from my best, but still surprised at how unfit I've become after a few weeks inactivity. It is a good race and a very attractive course, glad I completed it.
