Keefy Beefy ***BEFORE*** I just ran a HM at a faster pace per mile than my current 10K PB so should be safe bet. ***AFTER*** Phew, not as easy as predicted. Now a group of guys at work just did the Marathon des Sables, so I don't want to moan about heat too much, but it was chuffing hot today. 25? 27? Whatever, the course had no shade and a few unlucky ones went home in ambulances (still breathing though). Me, I made it ok. Wore my freebie ING cap, which makes me look stupid but keeps me a bit cooler, and even managed to beat someone in a top sprint finish at the end. The wife got a great photo of it that makes me look like I'm goading him but really we were both laughing about it. He just isn't in the pic ;o)
