I should really look up the rules but if Iain is running with Magnus (which he plans) could he run with Harriet too or does it have to be 1 to 1?

Old Croc
don't think has to be 1 to 1 as long as they are all looked after "within arms length"

to be honest if you have a competent 10 yr old runner I wouldn't worry too much
happy b'day Mrs S

Not sure, but I know that in Ellon there was the one mum who ran with her two daughters, usually towards the back.

Thanks guys, it went well last night, apart from the bee sting. I hope he is ok this morning, he spent the night in hospital apparently.

Maz..........
Crikey, there's not a lot you could've done to foresee that, and I don't think carrying adrenaline is something that can reasonably be expected..... Well done on dealing with it calmly.... as an other runner, wouldn't have known anything was going on, which is a plus!

I can't see how it will put people off, it's not like we could have anticipated it, it could have happened anywhere!
