Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ha ha! Age is just a number...

There is a bit of wanting the room to not look like a gym wile we eat and also not wanting to be feeling selfish if they are eating while I train!

Can understand that. Can’t remember if you’ve looked at room dividers that you can move out of the way when not exercising.....

That is exactly what I’m looking for/at with maybe a storage wall as another option.

Also realising that I need to sort my parts and tools - I have never had an interest in that side but realise now that I need to.

Mainly aimed at Zwift, but possibly some ideas for some 'real world' pain caves here.

This is the initial work in progress as we move in (‘scuse mess). I have balanced the one end kitchen breakfast bar and used it to provide a separate training area (with bike 2 underneath for now). I am thinking of putting a storage shelf below and mounting the other bike on the wall. The now disused cabinet houses the laptop and fan.

Training mat arrived. Think I’m set up so I’ll have no excuses.

I am moving house next week. No garage and a bit of a downsize. We do have a garden room with power but the ceiling is no more than 2m I guess with supporting timbers every 50cm Max probably lower.

The open plan kitchen-diner is large and I have approval to use a corner for turbo. I am looking at using a Chinese dresser partition thing to avoid the bike looking unsightly!

I have Googled some examples but nothing fits my set up they are all very ‘Instagram’ which means they are not wh...
