Founded in 1984 by a group of friends, this friendly club has gone from strength to strength and currently has around 100 members.
We meet during the Winter in Totton, and in the Summer we run in the forest. Our schedule is varied and geared for all abilities whether novice or seasoned marathon runner.
Successful beginners groups held in the past few years have encouraged new members to join and get running by offering training with entry to the Totton 10k. In 2008 the beginners Group starts Monday 14th January and will meet at West Totton Centre every Monday and Wednesday at 7pm until the Totton 10k on 6th April, then, the group joins with the main schedules for training sessions out in the Forest through the summer months.
