I’ve less than 40 pages to go. A couple of thoughts: 1. No other book (apart from an office furniture catalogue) used the word ‘credenza’ so often. 2. Towards the end, Benny Shassburger tells several people “never mind” in response to a question. “Never Mind” is my next read. I’ve really enjoyed this book. It works really well, and has great heart. I like the way it describes how one comes to care for ones colleagues, even the annoying ones*. I’m expecting to give it an 8. *there always exceptions. |
