Be interesting to see what you think. Filmed plays have another barrier to hop over - they're not a play any more as the live element has been removed and they're not really telly films as they were made for another medium.

e.g. I thought that James Corden thing was excruciating and unwatchable, but maybe in the theatre I'd have been swept up in it?

True. My Mum watched it all and said she could see how it would have been good in the theatre.

I'm halfway through it and absolutely loving it. I had to stop because OH came down from his nap and it's not really his thing. Works so much better on the stage. I want my Mum to see it now.
