Flights to 'foreign' soil

Hills of Death (HOD) Oct 2013 3:20pm, 24 Oct 2013 29,177 posts	0 Hills of Death (HOD) I been finding getting flights a minefield when travelling abroad don't know what everyone else thinks. Trying to get to Galway is like planning another Normandy landing first they have stopped the direct flights no to go to Knock can't find the Airport I want to go to in UK and fly. Anyone found an easy website to look etc

Naomi P Oct 2013 3:30pm, 24 Oct 2013 11,336 posts	0 Naomi P I think Galway airport was closed to commercial flights in late 2011 after government funding was cut and Aer Arran decided its capacity wasn't being used. I flew there with Aer Arran in 2010 for Connemara but most got the train over from Dublin. You might have to do that. That or hire a private jet to get you to Galway.
