It would be more exciting if you were allowed to aim at spectators and lay them out.

I have smashed a few balls about on a driving range and the last time I went I started aiming at the little truck thing collecting all the balls up and got told off. I mean it was like an armoured car, I needed a cruise missile to do any damage.
