Gobi 6th overall 3rd V40 - tough day, rain had made the ground bad, warm and windy today. Only won in 33.47 by someone who is much faster. All Kms within 7 seconds except for the downhill which was another 7 seconds faster. This KM damaged me a lot showing me why I need to race carefully. wick This race is harder than it seems from looking at the gradients. It is pretty flat but the different types of surface especially the grass and wet trails are difficult to run on. However these different surfaces make the race very interesting and the start and finish in the middle of the town are great. I made the course slightly long at 6.35 miles.
