bevunit 8.23, 8.13, 8.30, 8.55, 9.32, 9.35, 1.48. Conclusion - need to do more long runs. Pretty pleased with under 55mins. Fairly flat course round the country lanes. The rain overnight had caused quite a bit of flooding meaning we all got very wet feet. The last mile was a long gentle uphill though which combined with the galeforce wind I found really hard. Neil Oldfield Felt really comfortable first 5km, everything going to plan for a neg split and try and break 50mins. Then came the high waters and the high winds. The water (above the ankle) in a number of places really siezed my legs up through coldness. The wind on the last 4km or so was also really tough going. In the end not as quick I would have liked to go for the course, but with the elements against us all, overall pretty happy. Supernova48 A personal best for me!I knocked ten minutes off my PB time.This was despite the freezing cold day and the three massive puddles we had to run through.(nearly swim through) really pleased made the effort to travel all that way to run a 10km.Ran with nizbit and carlos1976.who once again were out of sight within the first 2km!
