Bloody wind......
Pauldupthehoops
A little bit blowey! :)
Pegg
Despite the wind, I managed a four and a half minute PB :-) I'm so so happy as the run up to the race wasn't how I planned it. I was smiling from mile 5 when I realised it really was a very good possibility. Haven't stopped smiling since :-)
DrDan
The wind was brutal! I entered this originally with the intention making it a target race and gunning for a PB ... given the weather I'm glad I changed that plan! This replaced my PandD "11M with 7M at LT" session ... managed the 7M at LT but then paid for it in the last 3M. I was in the group with the lovely Jovi Runner for the first 7M ... who then put a minute on me in the last 3M. Oh, and the wind was brutal.
mikep
Pleased with a sub 70 as the second half was a bit blowy. Hope you all enjoyed your visit to Pocklington. We hope to see you next year.
Dooogs
Horrible positive split - between blisters, coming off a cold and not enough training, this wasn't a triumph. Still, at least I've got an official 10m PB now. :)
davelord
Fab , and real money prizes I would give it 12/10 with a tail wind home, as it was it gets 11 out of 10
Lucky Jim
As usual a very well organized race. The first five miles were fine but the last five were like running with a stretched bungee rope tied to your waist and anchored to the road. The wind was a real pain!
Dickie York
