Hi ,

Race No. 2840. pos 738/3543.

Cold conditions and blustery on final 2 miles drag along the seafront to finish line.

A new PB. Took one minute to cross the start line so really pleased with the time which is still one minute than previous PB (Maidstone October 2004). Plenty of hill working in the first half of the race (especially 3-5 miles) but downhill sections to compensate later on. Some good battles in the field and the support was incredible.

One I would like to forget, terrible day, had dizzy spells and had to stop for a good 5mins!

First half marathon for 20 years, after only 4 months training.

Strange--much harder than Brighton three weeks before, but slightly faster... Last three miles hell.
