Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not sure what to expect so will see what happens *UPDATE* Too hot

Brilliant race and would recommend to anyone. A word of warning would be the gentle climbs over the last couple of miles. They slayed me today mainly due to the added heat. Really well organised race, just need a couple more signs for the meeting points and where to go back on the park and ride.
roberton
Summary: A great event, but this time too hot. And I messed up.
A bit more: Well it went _okay_. 1h 54min 37sec, which is a PB by a whopping 5 seconds! I expected to do it quicker though and it was really hard, much harder than the Liverpool one a couple of months ago (the 1:54:42 one). I decided to stop trying to do negative splits and just run how I felt. Never again. And it was so hot. 20C and in the sunshine the whole time. Ouch!
