This event is listed on these dates:
Gone for a slightly slower time than I expect - based on the fact that I am SOOOOOO tired!!
Time TBC - I clocked 1:20:43 but sure official time will be slower. [I was wrong - it was a second faster!!]
An excellent race - despite the conditions - did first 5 miles in sub 8's - not sure about second 5 but was much slower from about 7 mile. Put on a burst for last mile but was really drained by then.
Sure I would have broken 1:20 if conditions had been better. Always next year
Excellent medal as well - very novel, if evil looking, pudding!
Not official time but won't be far off. Good race, ran well. Extremely well organised.
Definitely a race of two halves! I was comfortably on track for my predicted time until the weather decided to take centre stage at around 5 miles. But a PB anyway, and a very enjoyable race :o)
pretty hilly, wet and windy
A huge pb for me-including a 10k pb of 61 minutes
the officail time will be about 40 seconds slower, will update when i know
But mileage buildng - so this might be a bit ambitious

First ever 10 Miler and wasn't quite sure what to expect. 65 mins was the target, but the vicious wind and rain which meant that my quads felt cold the whole way around (and slowed me considerably on the UPdulates Into The Wind (can you spot them..?) and so was actually pretty pleased with this as a run out given the lack of training over the last couple of weeks.
Splits: 6.46 - 6.18 - 6.32 - 6.43 - 6.57 - 6.41 - 7.34 - 6.58 - 6.43 - 6.56
Niggles all seem to have worked themselves out - and new light racing shoes were LOVELY
Nice HR set too!
174 - 182 - 183 - 183 - 183 - 183 - 182 - 183 - 186 - 186
Velociraptor ran a stormer too, so all in all - a Good Day

Oh - that'll be a PB then :o)
Hopefully will have recovered from Luton.
Made the start with two mins to spare, either directions were useless or my map reading was, no time to warm up, was sluggish till about mile 7 then got second wind. New PB by about 5 mins but forgot to bet on myself doh!.
very well marshalled and policed and plenty of encouragement.
Will definately do again next year.
unnoficial tme 1:13:30
Official time clocked as started three minutes after the rest. Really need to get to a race on time soon and not chase people going off in the distance. Fantastic marshalls all around the course. One of the best organised races this year well done!
Not terribly scenic but well organised & a nice fast finish
big head winds around 7 miles put paid to sub 60mins.
felt great throughout the race. eight minute miling was never in mind and then to beat my predicted time by some was a great feeling. The race was fantastic along with all who ran aswell - weather was cold and wet and when the ran was against you it was hard.
