28th Half / 4th Launceston Half. Made friends with the monster course!! Never thought I could get under 2:10, I just wanted to improve on 2:13. I had worked out that if you just relax for the first couple of miles (Steep DOWN, then UP) mile 3 is the fastest (don't go mad!) you have to work really hard for 4 miles (4-7) mostly quiet roads with gradual uphill, once you see the mile 7 marker, there are 4 "easy" miles, mostly down - & don't even think about the last bit, miles 12 & 13!! (Steep up, more up, more up ...)
