Em Dont ever get a good time here as hilly and off road, just using it as a training run for great south really and not worry to much as 3rd comp in a row. Had a dreadful run made worse by the marshall at the finish who steped infront of me just as I was getting to the line, all he had to do was put his arm out to direct me not step infront of me bringing meto a grinding halt on his toes almost, then the funnel was to small for the amount of runners that came through at that time so had to stand still whilst trying to get breath back which is not good for you, am sorry to say that after 4 years of this race I wont be rushing back next year. Sid Not sure I've got into this yet as I haven't received a race number yet but my cheque has been cashed. I won't get a PB here as it's hilly course. I'll be happy to achieve the same finish time as last year - 52 mins. Number arrived today..I'm in!! SteveX Hard work. I hadnt felt too well in the days leading up to this one. No running since Wednesday. First time over this course and its not easy.Was pretty warm with a difficult and undulating terrain. The time isnt very good but 90th out of 540 finishers is respectable.
