Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I've got a heavy training week before this race, so not sure how I'll feel on the day. I'll either PB or bring up the rear. UPDATE : as well as the heavy training, I got a full game of football in on Thursday night, so this one was never going to be fast.
Not aiming to PB - probably relaxing at 25 min - cos I'm doing a big triathlon on Sunday.<BR>
Result - spot on what I was aiming for - and wonderful in the sun :o)
This was my first Bushy Park 5K time trial and I'll definitely be doing it again. I'm fairly pleased with my time considering I went out for a heavy meal last night and had a bit of a late one...
Offical time, splits were 4:03, 4:02, 4:11, 4:04; 3:55 (last two bit of a guess total was 7:59)

Very very pleased, as I have foot injury and my first ever competitive 5K. Also pleased as its first time I have beaten The Croc in a race, I knew if I could find a race short enough I could stay with him and do a faster finish.
The Croc
Didn't feel particularly strong, got beaten by Tappers - but on the plus side it was an absolutly perfect morning and I did inprove my pb by 8 secs!
Kittenheels Kath
A PB, courtesy of pacing by Hollywood and Tim the Dog. I was also trying to find out my maximum heart rate (194), so it was handy that I tried so hard.
