Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker. I understand. No-one likes ads.

But our site costs money to operate, and I need to eat.

Please consider enabling ads for our website, or making a voluntary donation. If you donate, I can turn off the ads for you for a period of time. Average donations are about £3.50 per month, so a tenner would give you three months ad free.

GREAT YARMOUTH 2012 MARATHON PB BY 9 MINUTES
Dickie York
How could I say no to my old home town race :-)
Very well marshalled and organised race. Fast flat course, good mild conditions, not too windy, could have done with less rain :-)
Ran a very steady race, 1.27.30 at half way, 2nd half 1 min quicker, to finish 5th overall, 1st VM40 and a new PB on my old home town course :-) :-)
SurferRich
was on perfect pace with time in the bank through 16 miles.

Energy dipped for no apparent reason, think maybe more solid fuel, ie bars were needed as the two I had gave a boost.
