Fat Boy Placed 15th overall and just behind club mates Magoo (11th in 1.19.01) and JP105 (13th in 1.19.18). Good strong run and excellent event. Pleased to win the team prize. Carnegie Harriers 1:12:31 1:19:20 1:19:20 74.42
bedlam_g Lovely, if somewhat undulating route on a gorgeous day in the beautiful Scottish Borders. I’m really pleased with my time as it comes despite not running for 10 days due to a nasty bout of shin splints and a heavy cold, 3 hours sleep due to work and to cap it all a tummy bug that kicked in about an hour before the start and laid me low since. I’m delighted just to have finished. Bellahouston Road Runners, Cumbernauld AAC, Kilmarnock Harriers & AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 1:13:23 1:40:05 1:41:08 57.64
jp105 Very nice weather in Jedburgh. Was aiming at a P.B in this one but went off far too quick and suffered in the second half. Was well ahead of schedule at half way but slowed down considerably. Very good to win the team prize along with fellow members Magoo and Fatboy. Big well done to Carnegie Lass who won the event. Carnegie Harriers 1:14:59 1:17:24 1:16:59 1:19:18 73.11
biru It was pretty much raining non-stop for the last week, so we were lucky to run in glorious sunshine today! Took myself by surprise a bit...training has been going well, but I wasn't expecting to knock 5 minutes off my PB set 4 weeks ago in the GNR:) Those long 15 mile weekend runs and recent races must have helped to build up my endurance. Went off quite fast, slowed down a little bit in the second half but felt reasonably good for the entire race (no hitting of walls today)!! Grey Badger Went great for the first 8.5 miles then pulled a calf muscle. Just had to do the rest the best i could. Would have beaten my PB if i hadn't got injured. Still managed to do 3 min faster than last year. Lots more in race this year and a perfect day for running, sunny with a light breeze. Dave_K Really good day even though it hurt ! Tougher course than the Great Cumbrian Run. Suffered from 11 to 12 miles with knee problem. Pleased only to be a minute off PB. Weather was great and well marshalled. Hope to run this again next year. Unaffiliated 1:41:20 2:07:09 2:05:00 2:08:48 46.42

Ellem Dead chuffed with time for first Half Marathon. Brilliant weather and a super well run race. The Marshalls were brilliant and the band playing Chariots of Fire was fun. East Lothian Triathlon Club 1:50:15 1:51:14 1:58:00 1:51:14 64.11
Dvorak First ever half-marathon. Beautiful sunny day in attractive (and mainly flat) countryside. As I had just decided to do the run on a whim, I had to raise from 10K to half-marathon in four weeks. So I was delighted to finish, never mind finish faster than expected. Supervixen Sorry folks, the course was just too hard, the 11 to 12 mile hill was a kiiler, I think I did okay just to get somewhere near my personal best, as I was suffering from a heavy cold and no trainng since last 1/2 marathon.. Good course though and fantastic weather. The next course will need to be a bit flatter for me!! Unaffiliated 1:56:24 2:16:44 2:10:00 2:17:17 48.00
