Entrants (3) Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Dochart Race HQ at Yate Town FC north of Bristol with parking, changing & baggage check. The route is along quiet lanes with little traffic and is very flat, with only a few short gradients for rail bridges etc. At one point the route doubles back on itself and it's a bit disconcerting to watch the leaders charge past as you plod along. The route was marked in mile splits, rather an kms, which seemed a bit odd for a 10k race. The rain held off and it was breezy rather than windy, which made for good conditions. I set off at a good (for me) pace of around 7mins/ mile but couldn't quite manage to maintain it to the finish. Still, very happy with a new pb and first time under 45mins for the distance. 81/259 Stragglers 39:50 43:16 44:08 64.07
