ktrose1981 Very very muddy and very very wet and very hard going. I was glad I wore my trail shoes, it was completely different under foot compared to last year' very fry and hot cobditions. It was so slippery, I fell twice although I saved myself with my hands but my foot was soaking wet after about three miles and the secobd foot after about four miles. There were large parts where you just slid around trying to avoid falling which really slowed you down and once your feet were and trainers were soaking wet and caked in mud they were so heavy to lift that it felt like you had lead weights on your feet!
